Cooking a Perfect Hard-Boiled Egg is so simple and you need no skills for it. In my family some like hard-boiled others like a runny egg yolk (that includes me ๐Ÿ™‚ ), but when it comes to eggs in salads or any other dish, you always need hard-boiled eggs. I was surprised to discover that some people slow-cook eggs or use different methods and here I thought my version was the only version,because thatโ€™s the way itโ€™s always been done in my family. This quick recipe will teach you how to avoid overcooked blue-ish/gray egg yolks and get those perfect results every time. Letโ€™s also not forget about Easter when you color eggs and need them to be so perfect inside!

Perfect Hard Boiled Eggsย Ingredients:

  • 7 large eggs – refrigerated
  • cold water

1. Place 7 refrigerated eggs in a small pot and cover with cold water. Cover with lid and bring to boil on medium-high or high heat.

2. As soon as it boils, lower heat to low and slightly open the lid. Cook for exactly 7 minutes, not more. Pour cold water into cooked eggs and keep them in cold water for 10-15 minutes until they are no longer warm. Peel the eggs when cooled and they are ready to eat or use. The yolk center will be perfect yellow. Enjoy!!
