It’s another staple at our house. It seems that every recipe is a family favorite. I don’t know if it’s because we love to eat or they are just simply that good 🙂 We usually enjoy them for breakfast, but another big hit would be to add as a side dish to any soup. Mmm…I can smell tasty just talking about it!!
Easy French Toast Ingredients:
- 4 thick slices of French bread (3/4”-1”)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons heavy whipping cream
- pinch of salt
- oil for frying
How to Make Easy French Toast:
1. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or a skillet over medium heat. Slice French bread into 3/4″-1” thick slices, if you haven’t done it yet. In a medium bowl, combine: 2 eggs, 2 tsps heavy whipping cream and a pinch or two of salt. Whisk together just until combined. Dip each slice of bread in an egg mixture, covering both sides completely.
2. Place in a skillet and fry until golden; flip and fry the other side. Serve warm with fresh berries, glass of milk, orange juice or coffee (my personal preference 😀 ). Enjoy!!
