Easy French toast: easy to make, fluffy, chewy and delicious to enjoy.
Ingredients
4thick slices of French bread, 3/4”-1”
2large eggs
2teaspoonsheavy whipping cream
pinchof salt
oil for frying
Instructions
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or a skillet over medium heat. Slice French bread into 3/4″-1” thick slices, if you haven’t done it yet. In a medium bowl, combine: 2 eggs, 2 tsps heavy whipping cream and a pinch or two of salt. Whisk together just until combined. Dip each slice of bread in an egg mixture, covering both sides completely.
Place in a skillet and fry until golden; flip and fry the other side. Serve warm with fresh berries, glass of milk, orange juice or coffee.
